Dr. Sangeeta Agrawal is an Associate Professor of Medicine, Chief of Division of Gastroenterology, and GI Fellowship Program Director at Wright State University. She is also the Chief of Section of Gastroenterology at Dayton VA Medical Center. She has a special interest in Barrett’s esophagus, esophageal motility disorders, gastrointestinal cancers, and advanced diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy including ERCP and Radiofrequency ablation procedures.

She earned her medical degree from Gandhi Medical College, Osmania University, Hyderabad, India. She completed her Internal Medicine residency and Gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Missouri, Columbia, MO.

She is a fellow of AGA (American Gastroenterological Association), ASGE (American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy), and ACG (American College of Gastroenterology). She serves as Chair of Education Committee of Ohio Gastroenterology Society (OGS) and as a member of the ACG Training Committee. She has mentored several GI fellows, medical residents, and medical students. She is also co-founder and member of the advisory committee of a non-profit organization, Global Pragathi.
