There are only a few reported cases of anal canal leiomyosarcoma and around 300 reported cases of rectal leiomyosarcoma. Diagnosis is virtually impossible without proper immunohistochemistry. graduation and MS in General Surgery in Madras Medical College and Research Institute, Chennai he completed his M.Ch in General Surgery in All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi.

General Surgery. He did his fellowship in liver transplantation at The Institute of Liver
