What you'll learn

In this course, you can learn about dendritic cell vaccination in cancer patients. You will see the process of in vitro optimization of dendritic cells which can be prepared from peripheral blood of cancer patients in a faster, more effective, and safe way. read more »»

We will demonstrate how autologous dendritic cell therapy is used in metastatic melanoma, ovarian carcinoma, and glioblastoma patients. This treatment has negligible side effects, is quite effective even in end-stage cancer, and even in those cases that cannot be cured with conventional treatments, such as chemotherapy, radiotherapy, or surgery. Prof. Michalek will also demonstrate his complex approach to any cancer patient who is seeking optimal safe and effective anti-cancer treatment.

Who Should Attend?

  • Medical professional interested in novel anti-cancer treatments in oncology

Key concepts covered include:

“By the end of this course, you’ll be able to understand:

  • From preclinical to clinical research in optimization of dendritic cells suitable for anti-cancer vaccination and a broad clinical experience with it.”
