This comprises a heterogeneous group of cancers with pathologic features of biliary tract differentiation and is presumed to arise from the intra-or-extrahepatic biliary tract. The diagnosis should be suspected in either male or female patients in his or her 60s, with no or minimal symptoms, and a fibrotic liver mass.
