His interest in building global healthcare capacity led him to develop GuluMan healthcare link and become the founder-director Uganda-UK Healthcare Alliance. He firmly believes in globalising education for all NHS staff to maximize their contribution to the future of healthcare in the UK.

In his roles as director of Education and Quality for Health Education North West and director of Education and Quality for HHE North, he has led nationally for HEE on population health and prevention, patient safety and academic development.
