Hypothyroidism is the deficiency of thyroid hormone and has known effects on cardiovascular pathways, including adverse effects in systolic and diastolic function, endothelial functioning, etc. While treating cardiac dysfunctions, thyroid functioning would not be a usual diagnosis which is made by cardiologists.
