After a weight loss surgery, the patient needs to make some changes to the diet to maximize the amount of weight loss. One should eat a high-protein, low-carb diet before surgery. Dr. Sunitha Premalatha holds a Masters’s and Ph.D. in Nutrition, Dietetics, and Food Service Management, WCC Madras University. She has been guided more than 100 students for a dietetic internship as part of their Master’s program from the National Institute of Nutrition, Osmania University, Padmavathi University, Andhra University, and IGNOU students. She has been associated with the Member of the Indian Dietetic Association and served as an executive member of IDA 2003. Also, a member of the Nutrition Society of India. She has been organized the secretary for Indian Dietetic Association National Conference 2003, Hyderabad. She is a guest speaker for various corporate companies like Infosys, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Dr. Reddy’s, Mylan, TCS, Accenture, HCL, Cognizant, Well’s Fargo, CSC, ADP, ITC Kakatiya, etc.
