The variations in ECG in specific ST segment can help in early diagnosis of cardiac events and their adverse effects. Myocardial ischemia is an emergency situation and health care providers should be able to promptly diagnose and manage this situation.

This course discusses the definition, etiology, prevalence, and diagnosis of myocardial ischemia. It also discusses the importance of ST-segment, changes in ECG in NSTEMI and STEMI, the importance of ECG, and other diagnostic aids in diagnosing myocardial infarction, etc.
