The COVID-19 pandemic is an instance of traumatic stress and will likely worsen existing mental health difficulties and lead to new disorders in others for an extended period. The caregivers, face the added burden of being exposed to the virus almost continuously while providing care to the infected which contributes to physical and mental stress, and psychological risks such as fear of being a carrier of the virus and put their family, friends, or colleagues at risk, and fear of dying.

This course discusses the measures to balance stress and anxiety in the caregivers during the current COVID-19 crisis.
