Dialectical Behavioral Therapy was originally created by Dr. Marsha Linehan to treat Borderline Personality Disorder, a highly stigmatized emotion dysregulation disorder. It is now used to treat many different mental health conditions and its skills can be applied to any life. DBT is a skills-based program. It is packed-full of coping skills that help learners regulate emotions, tolerate distress, and manage interpersonal relationships.read more »»

Alicia Paz created the first online DBT course of its kind in 2013. She has since taught Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) coping skills to over 4,000 students in 110 countries through live modules with skills coaching. In 2020 she launched a community DBT platform that includes live course sessions. She is also writing a DBT workbook for children.
