Since 1983, Dr. Mitch Spero, Licensed Psychologist, and Director of Child & Family Psychologists has developed a specialization in the treatment of emotional and behavioral problems of children and adolescents. As a Licensed Psychologist he has extensive experience in dealing with Children of Divorce, Custody Evaluations, Step-family Adjustment Issues, Emotionally Handicapped and Learning Disabled Children, and Children with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. His work with adults has focused on Marriage and Family Therapy, Substance Abuse Counseling, and Individual Therapy for Depression and Anxiety. Dr. Spero is also a Certified and Court Appointed Family Mediator by the Supreme Court of Florida.
Dr. Mitch Spero is also known for having been the Pro-Bono Evaluating Psychologist for Elian Gonzales, a world-famous International Immigration Case. Dr. Spero’s speech was viewed on CNN, MSNBC, and many other Live International News Programs. He has been conducting Immigration Psychological Evaluations in the South Florida Area for decades.
