Primary Immune Deficiencies (PIDs), better known as Inborn Errors of Immunity, are an expanding group of diseases that afflict the immune system and predispose individuals to recurrent infections, autoimmunity, auto-inflammation, and malignancy. At present, more than 430 such diseases have been recognized. Due to a lack of awareness about these diseases, many children and adults remain undiagnosed and often suffer for years. In this course, the viewers would be provided with a case-based discussion on various immune deficiency diseases. The warning signs of PIDs have been presented with relevant cases.read more »»

Pragmatic classification of these diseases that would help clinicians recognize and classify these patients is a unique feature of this course. At the end of the course, the viewers must be able to recognize PIDs based on pattern recognition and investigate them based on the algorithms provided.
