What you'll learn
An antibiotic sensitivity test is used to help find the best treatment for a bacterial infection. We need this test if you have an infection that has been shown to have antibiotic resistance or is otherwise hard to treat. The goals of testing are to detect possible drug resistance in common pathogens and to assure susceptibility to drugs of choice for particular infections.

Prof. Dr. P.K.Rajesh is currently the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic and International Affairs of AIMST University Malaysia. He also holds the posts of Head of the Unit of Microbiology, Head of Medical Education unit, and the Deputy Dean of Academic and International affairs of Faculty of Medicine. Dr. Rajesh served as the Dean of Faculty of Medicine from 2013-2015. Dr.Rajesh has been affiliated with AIMST since the year 2005.
