Neet PG exam for 2021 for Medical Students

This year after a lot of speculations and delays, NBE announced that NEET PG 2021 will be held on 18 April, 2021 at various centers across India. An official notification was also released regarding the eligibility criteria, only those students who are completing their internship on or before 30th June 2021 can apply for NEET PG examination. As per the information bulletin from the exam board, they reserve the rights to make any modifications or changes in the date of the examination due to any unanticipated situation.

NEET PG 2021 Syllabus

NEET PG entrance has a very comprehensive syllabus. It covers topics on Pre-Clinical, Para-Clinical and Clinical from the MBBS course. NEET curriculum comprises all the subjects you have studied during your MBBS and internship. So it’s not wrong to say that your PG preparation was started right from your graduation. 

NEET PG 2021 Admit Card

The admit card for NEET PG 2021 exam will be released by NBE. They are expected to release the admit card by the second week of March through an official notification on their website. Candidates can access their admit cards by logging into their account which was created during the NEET PG registration. They can download the admit card and take a print, as it is mandatory to carry the admit card to the exam center.

NEET PG 2021 Results Date

The result date of NEET PG 2021 is yet to be announced but is expected to be in the first week of May 2021. The result is declared in the form of an online scorecard consisting of their NEET PG score, percentile and All India rank. Post the declaration of results, a cut-off list is released by the colleges participating in NEET PG to carry out the admission procedures.

Based on the cut-off list candidates are shortlisted for the further admission process and will be called for the counselling round. The aspirants are required to bring a set of documents for the counselling, the list of documents can be checked on the official NBE website.

NEET PG 2021 Counselling

Depending on the ranking, candidates are called for NEET PG counselling and they need to fill their choice of specialization and colleges in this round. It is a centralized counselling for all states, universities and institutions. It is organized by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) for all India seats quota of 50%. 

NEET PG 2021 counselling details such as dates, registration form, fees and other information on state quota seats will be released by the respective state bodies.
