About the Summit

This Catch that still exists - A Woman who is Assertive is labeled as Aggressive. When she is promoted it’s just because she is a Woman. When she is a Working Mother, she is less ambitious and committed.

As per the UNESCO, Gender sensitivity is not about pitting women against men. On the contrary, education that is gender sensitive benefits members of both sexes. It helps them determine which assumptions are valid and which are stereotyped generalizations. Gender sensitivity helps generate respect for the individual regardless of sex. A change in perception is the need of the hour and requires orientation of policy-makers, curriculum developers, media professionals, adult learners and even the public at large. The Gender that enjoys a Privileged status is often unaware of it.

To those who have it, it is Invisible. This makes them look at it as ‘Much ado about nothing!’

Organizations need to be observant of Unconscious bias. They need to Work on Unintentional Patronizing. They need to make Diverse Teams and Study the impact on performance, belongingness, revenue and performance in the Projects these teams undertake. This webinar will help in understanding how Gender Sensitization is indeed a boon for all Genders.
