About the Webinar

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy was originally created by Dr. Marsha Linehan to treat Borderline Personality Disorder, a highly stigmatized emotion dysregulation disorder. It is now used to treat many different mental health conditions and its skills can be applied to any life. DBT is a skills-based program. It is packed-full of coping skills that help learners regulate emotions, tolerate distress, and manage interpersonal relationships.

Mental health issues affect people worldwide. They can decrease the quality of life dramatically and even threaten lives. The skills you’ll learn in this course can be taught to your patients to help them cope better with their realities. Pair this Mindfulness module with the five other DBT courses that are also available.
Interpersonal Effectiveness is one of four modules that make up Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Many people with mental health disorders struggle to maintain stable interpersonal relationships. This module teaches skills that help learners improve how they interact with others. You’ll learn tricks to get your needs met, as well as many other skills to share with your clients who struggle with interpersonal skills.

So, join in with Ms. Alicia Paz to know how to work with patients using DBT Skills.
