About the Webinar

This webinar will address the correlation between Covid19 and Diabetes. While there is a lot of information and data available to understand Covid19, there is little available to the public for how the disease reacts with other pre-existing health concerns.

What are comorbidities and how does one detect them? What about people who have other health issues and/or disorders? Do we understand the physiology of Covid19 and disorders like diabetes, hypertension, existing respiratory problems, and such?

From way back in December 2019, when Covid19 was first discovered in Wuhan, China, the world has come a long way. From the initial shock of the global pandemic to then comfortably adjusting to multiple waves of lockdown and now the New Normal, where constantly wearing a mask and using sanitizer by the clock has become the norm.
Today over 20 million people have been vaccinated against covid19 around the world. So, it does seem like 2021 is going to be better than 2020 after all.

Having said that, we aren’t in the clear yet. So, join in with Dr. Nuzhat to better understand the pandemic and how it plays with diabetes.
